Adam Howarth

Originally from the UK, Adam moved to SE Asia after 16 years working in the UK special effects industry. He has lived in Thailand and Indonesia but moved to Malaysia in 2013 when the new Pinewood studios opened in Johor Bahru with 'Marco Polo'. He lives in Johor with his Malaysian wife, Kimberley. Adam speaks Malay, Indonesian, and a fair amount of Thai. Adam is a member of the Institute of Explosives Engineers and is an expert pyrotechnician. In his spare time, he is a keen SCUBA diver and enjoys exploring the warm, clear seas of the region.
