Andrew Rowlands
Andrew Rowlands is a cinematographer and camera operator. He began his journey as a steadicam and camera operator, contributing to numerous high-profile films, including The Matrix Reloaded (2003), Gangs of New York (2002), and The Departed (2006). Transitioning into roles with greater responsibility, Rowlands served as the second unit director of photography on several major productions. Notably, he worked on Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens (2015), where he was responsible for the units in Iceland and Abu Dhabiunits. He continued this trajectory with contributions to films like The Mummy (2017), Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016), and Rampage (2018), showcasing his versatility and ability to handle complex shooting environments. In 2020, Rowlands took on the role of lead cinematographer for the feature film Children of the Corn, marking a significant milestone in his career.
