Dan Grace
Dan Grace (born on 16 November 1974) is a costume supervisor. Born in London, England, comes from a distinguished costume family—as the son of acclaimed costume designer Lindy Hemming—growing up immersed in the world of stage and screen costume-making. At age 15, he took his first summer job as a floor runner on film sets, an experience which deepened his interest in the film industry. The following year, he joined the renowned costume house Angels, working daily and exposing him to a wide variety of costume department roles. After a brief stint studying at Camberwell School of Art, he decided to return to practical work. Over eight years, he rose through the department, working as a costumier and standby before landing his first role as costume supervisor on the film All or Nothing (2002), under designer Jacqueline Durran. Since then, he has built an extensive career supervising costumes on both high‑profile and superhero productions. Grace’s filmography includes major titles such as The Dark Knight (2008), Doctor Strange (2016), Murder on the Orient Express (2017), and Ready Player One (2018). He has also contributed to recent blockbusters in both the Marvel and DC universes, supervising costume departments on Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) and Black Widow (2021).
