He directed films such as Saturday the 14th (1981), a horror-comedy parody, and Space Raiders (1983), a science fiction adventure. Cohen also wrote for television series, including The Care Bears and Rainbow Brite. His work often blended genres, incorporating elements of comedy, horror, and science fiction.
